What is at stake

A missed vehicle inspection parks the car, and an expired taxi driver licence parks the driver. Every day of standstill is lost driving.

Repeated misses are worse than that — over time they put the taxitrafiktillstånd (your taxi operating licence) at risk. Order beats memory.

The reminder ladder: 45, 14 and 1 day before

Manecab reminds you in three steps — 45, 14 and 1 day before every deadline. In the in-app bell, as lock-screen push and by email.

Documents in the cabinet work differently: each one gets its own reminder window, which you choose per document.

  • Vehicle inspection and taximeter inspection
  • Insurance and vehicle tax
  • Taxi driver licences — each driver is reminded about their own

Taximeter inspection every year

The rule is simple: the taximeter must be inspected annually, by an accredited workshop.

Manecab keeps the date per vehicle, counts down and reminds you through the ladder.

RC verification every week

Taximeter data must reach the redovisningscentral — the approved reporting centre — at least every seven days. The transfer itself runs between the taximeter and your RC, but making sure it works is on you.

Manecab gives you a weekly checklist per vehicle: log in to the RC portal, confirm the transfer went through, tick it off. A watchdog tool — not a legal log.

Rest times in the same system

Compliance does not stop at the car. Manecab warns in the roster when planned shifts leave too little daily rest, and at reporting when the rest since the last shift looks too short. The rules are gathered on the rest times page.

The warnings are planning support — Manecab is not a tidbok (the statutory rest-time log).

Common questions

More questions?

Manecab is not a redovisningscentral. The transfer runs between the taximeter and your RC as usual — Manecab helps you verify, week by week, that it went through.

How often must the taximeter be inspected?

Once a year, by an accredited workshop. Manecab tracks the date per vehicle and reminds you 45, 14 and 1 day before.

How often must taximeter data reach the redovisningscentral?

At least every seven days. Manecab reminds you weekly, and you confirm in your RC portal that the transfer went through.

Is Manecab a redovisningscentral?

No. Taximeter data flows from the taximeter to your redovisningscentral exactly as today. Manecab only helps you verify that the transfer actually happens.

Do taxis need a staff register (personalliggare)?

No. Taxi operations are not covered by the Swedish personalliggare rules.

Which reminders are sent?

The 45, 14 and 1 day ladder for vehicle inspection, taximeter inspection, insurance, vehicle tax and taxi driver licences — plus the weekly RC verification reminder and reminders before documents expire.
