You work in a draft. Drivers see nothing until you press Publish — and then they get one aggregated notification, not one per shift. Change your mind before that and you discard the draft.
Open shifts — claimed from the phone
Publish unassigned shifts as open shifts. Drivers see them on their phones and first come, first served — whoever claims the shift gets it.
At claim time Manecab checks rest time and overlaps, so nobody picks up a shift that collides with another one or with their daily rest.
Shift swaps and availability
A driver who cannot make a shift offers it, and a colleague takes over. The swap shows in the roster right away — no ringing around.
Drivers state their availability up to 16 weeks ahead. When you plan, an availability calendar shows who can actually work — no guessing.
Warnings before it goes wrong
The roster warns when daily rest (dygnsvila) looks shorter than 11 hours and when a car or a driver is double-booked.
The warning is guidance, not a lock — you see it right in the view and decide yourself.
Planned versus worked
Overlay the actual shifts on the plan: worked according to plan, planned but not worked, and worked without a plan — marked right in the view.
Approved leave and reported absence shade into the roster too, pulled from Leave and absence. The month view prints cleanly for the notice board.
