Next service by date or odometer
Vehicle care keeps each car's service history and its next due action. Set the next service as a date or an odometer reading — whichever comes first applies.
The action types match taxi life: Service, Repair, Tyre change, Vehicle inspection and Taximeter inspection. As a deadline approaches it shows Due soon; past it, Overdue.
Link an expense to an action and the cost follows both ways — the car's finances and the service history show the same figure.

You control per driver which cars they can report on. A new driver on the weekend car? Grant access in seconds.
Revoke just as fast when it is no longer needed — the history and the reports stay.
The car's finances
Fixed monthly cost, every expense tied to the car, purchase price, estimated value and depreciation — gathered per vehicle.
The odometer advances automatically from körpassrapporter (the end-of-shift reports). No taximeter connection, no new hardware in the car.
Documents and equipment on the car
The registration certificate and inspection records live on the vehicle in the document cabinet — not in a binder at the office.
The mounted-equipment panel shows what sits in the car: taximeter, card terminal, roof light. When something moves cars, the history shows it.

How do I know when the next service is due?
Either by date or by odometer reading — the limit reached first is the one that counts. Manecab reminds you as it approaches and marks it Overdue once passed.
Does the system track the odometer automatically?
Yes. The odometer updates from the drivers' shift reports after every shift. Manecab reads nothing from the taximeter.
Can different drivers have access to different cars?
Yes. Access is set per driver and vehicle. Grant and revoke at any time — the history stays.
Do you handle leased cars?
Yes. Record the ownership form and the fixed monthly cost, and the lease is counted into the car's finances.
What is särskild utrustning for taxi vehicles?
Since 2021 there has been an alternative to the taximeter for vehicles driving solely for a beställningscentral (a licensed taxi booking centre). Manecab handles both categories — you record per car what it carries.
