Manecab
Module · Equipment register

Who has the roof light? Now you know.

Taximeters, keys and fuel cards drift between drivers — and when something goes missing, nobody remembers who received it. The equipment register keeps track, with a signed acknowledgement at every handover.

Everything that is not a car

One register for the gear that keeps the fleet running:

  • Taximeter, card terminal and receipt printer
  • Roof light, phone and tablet
  • Keys and fuel cards
  • Workwear — and your own categories for the rest

A signed acknowledgement at handover

When you hand something out, the employee confirms receipt digitally. A traceable, signed acknowledgement (kvittens) replaces the paper slip in the binder — and returns are logged the same way.

The acknowledgement is a simple electronic signature under eIDAS: a logged-in click with a SHA-256 hash of the content and an audit log — not BankID.

To a person or a vehicle

Equipment can go to a person or be mounted on a vehicle. The taximeter sits in the car, the phone follows the driver — the register mirrors reality.

The full allocation history stays: who or which car had the item, and when.

Warranty and service reminders

Set a warranty or service date per item and Manecab reminds you before it runs out. You choose the reminder window — 1 to 365 days.

An inventory list at the press of a button

The whole register as CSV — a ready-made inventory list for the insurer, the auditor or your own spreadsheet.

How it works

  1. Register the item

Add the equipment with a category and, if relevant, a warranty date.

  2. Hand out with acknowledgement

The employee confirms receipt digitally — the acknowledgement is stored with time and content.

  3. Follow up and take back

See who has what, remind when needed and log the return.

Common questions

More questions?

Why require an acknowledgement for handed-out equipment?

Clear responsibility, fewer disputes and evidence if the insurer asks. A traceable digital acknowledgement carries more weight than a slip in a binder.

What happens when someone leaves?

You see at once what they still hold and log the returns item by item. The history remains afterwards.

Can I export an inventory list?

Yes. The whole equipment register exports as CSV — ready to send or open in a spreadsheet.

Can equipment be tied to a car?

Yes. Mount it on the vehicle and it appears in the car's mounted-equipment panel, with history when something moves.

Does the system remind me about warranties?

Yes. Warranty and service reminders are set per item, each with its own reminder window of 1 to 365 days.
